Giethoorn is a town in the Netherland's. It is known as the car-free village stuck back in time. It is full of lush green walkways with oak trees and bright pink flowers in the spring time. The scent of freshly mowed grass and livestock floats through the more rural parts of the town. In the city centre, which is quite literally three restaurants on the riverside, the main dishes are Dutch based. One of the most popular dishes are the croquettes. The crunchy, savory croquettes are complemented well by the bitter mustard. Instead of roads, there are bumpy, cobblestone sidewalks and dark green rivers that reflect the nature above it. The quaint houses are modeled in an older Dutch style, with reddish-brown bricks. Ultimately, it is the best place to spend a day away from the bustling city to the quiet rivers of Giethoorn.

The blog has a catchy title, you stayed between word count and you included a picture, which is very good. I would suggest separating your ideas to shorter and concise paragraphs. You did a very good job using descriptive language and imagery.
ReplyDeleteThe writer did capture a convincing voice and makes me want to visit this place. I think you can improve your structure by making your paragraph into smaller paragraphs. Overall good job.
ReplyDeleteI love the writing style in this! The passage was really descriptive and it almost felt as if I was there. The photo was also a great addition.
ReplyDeleteThe author included a lot o description about the area which really helps with giving the reader a clear idea of how Giethoorn really is. Reading this really make me want to go there! In terms of writing style, to match the Lahore author's style a bit better the author could have included more about what the city means to them.
