Paris, the city of love

Being in the city mostly known for its romantic annotations, is a different feeling all in itself. Waking up and enjoying the perfumed, fresh air of warm pastries being taken out the oven, and hot coffee involving itself in it. I quickly head inside from the icy draft that just blew in, I cover myself in comfy weighted blankets and  head out to the kitchen, getting a taste of the 'Paris touch'. Hearing the crunch of the crispy bread, it fills me up.

The city feel follows in, as the cigarette smoke fills the air along with the defeaning, vibrant city noises but the view makes up for it. Looking up at the colossal tower in all its glory. Seeing all the magnificent art, as the history of Lutetia takes me with it.

  1. I notice that there are many metaphors which perfectly portrays the authors style. There isn't much use of personification which is used a lot by the author to refer to Lahore. It would be better if there was some sort of use of personification towards Paris to make it more like the authors style. I really like how the story is told, it's sequence of events fall in the right places. It correctly shows mood throughout the text and the metaphors fit in perfectly with the mood. Great vocabulary, it really emphasizes the mood as well as the authors style. No seen spelling errors and a great picture. Although, the paragraph split isn't really necessary since it is still talking about the same topic. Overall great piece, only con is the non usage of personification.

  2. Many elements were used which is great as it uses a lot of description which captures the voice of the author in Lahore. Some elements that were used was smell where the air was described and touch where the fluffy blankets were mentioned. Noise was also mentioned, this makes the blog exciting and interesting as the title is also calling to be read. Overall, I really liked this blog and I think the author did a great job.
